February 17 is not an ordinary day. This is a powerful wealth portal. A real invitation window to receive the God of Wealth, Cai Shen, into your home, but only if you do it correctly.
In 2026, the first day of the first Lunar Month begins on February 17. Cai Shen arrives from the South, 180 degrees, between 12:28 am and 2:59 am Local Solar Time. The most auspicious moment is 1:40 am. Those born in Dragon or Dog years should sit this one out.
First step. Clean your home properly. Especially the South sector. Doors. Windows. Any qi openings. Start from your main entrance and move clockwise through the house. Clean space first. Energy follows.
On the night of February 16, shower and change into fresh clothes. This is about sincerity. Before the time window, open your South facing doors or windows to receive the incoming qi.
Set up a simple altar in the South sector of your living room. Keep it clean. Keep it respectful. Place fruits, sweets, tea, or wine. Light three candles safely. Do not leave them unattended. You may also light three incense sticks.
At 1:40 am, face South near an open window or door. Light the incense. Bow three times. Then do not just stand there. Walk slowly toward the South. This movement is symbolic. You are receiving. You are opening your path. You are welcoming abundance into your life.
Do not beg for money. Invite wisdom. Invite right opportunities. Invite clarity and courage to build wealth properly.
You can also activate the East on the same day for nobility, recognition, and helpful people. After completing the South invitation, walk toward the East with focus. The East supports mentors, clients, and influential connections.
IMPORTANT. February 17 carries eclipse energy. Do not perform this during the peak eclipse window. Eclipse energy is unstable. It can distort intention. Wait until the peak passes. Then activate with a calm and grounded mind.
There is another strong opportunity on February 21. On that day, the God of Wealth energy falls in the center of the house. This is rare. Between 12:28 am and 4:00 am, set up your altar in the center of your home and face your main door. Light incense and invite Cai Shen to enter through the main door and bless the entire household. The center is the heart of the home. This supports stable income, harmony, and long term prosperity.
Clean space. Clear intention. Correct timing. When done properly, this is not superstition. It is alignment. And when alignment happens, wealth flows.
